We were getting ready to play tennis, but all the courts were occupied so we had to drive to a park near by. Thank goodness both tennis courts were available! As you can remember from a previous post, I just got my tennis racquet, so Carson was teaching me some tennis lessons! He was showing me how we hit low to high. He said, "No Mama, look this is how you do it, first you put your left leg here and then you go low to high. Yup, that's what Daddy told me." (Thank you for the tennis lessons Carson.) Carson played the entire time we were out there, he never sat down. He would play at the wall, with me or by himself by practicing his serve. Now, as you can imangine, Natalia had other plans. She would hit the ball twice and then she would take a break. Then she would asked, "Mama, how much longer do me have to play?"
Since we were at the park, they got to play at the playground too. I guess they were worn out because after 10 minutes, they were so ready to go back home. This has never happened before. It takes approximately an hour before they semi-agree to leave...not this time!
We went home and ate lunch. After lunch, we turned the sprinklers on and this is what they did...

I thought we were going to end the day by going to the bookstore and getting a Starbucks dirnk but nobody was up to it. Natalia was feeling sick. I took her temperature and she did have a low fever, so we stayed home and read books and watched T.V. Which was nice because while they watched T.V., I was able to go and wash my car.
Sunday, we went to the zoo. It was so hot! We were there for about 4 hours and then decided it was time to come back home. The kids really enjoyed playing in the water at the zoo.
And for some reason, this is the only picture I took at the zoo. I guess, it was too hot and I couldn't think about anything else other than the heat!
